1st June - Cocktails & Crime Stories - Cosmos & Cold Cases

Cold cases are hot topics and Sydney’s true crime history is riddled with them.

In Episode 5 of our monthly Cocktails and Crime Stories event, join Max Burns-McRuvie as we revisit a series of mysterious murders, disappearances and assassinations that once stumped Sydney’s detectives and left the city in a state of speculation, rumour and head-scratching.

With a SILY Cosmo in hand (one cocktail included on entry) your host will unpack the strange circumstances surrounding these unsolved crimes and the curiosity they sparked within Sydney’s increasingly cosmopolitan metropolis over the 19 th and 20 th centuries.

From shady stalkers in Darling Harbour who left floating bodies in their wake, to secret love affairs in Lane Cove that led to puzzling deaths and detective work, this event will re-open the cold cases that have caused city-wide sensations and left confused coroners with inconclusive inquests.

Tickets are $30 which includes one Cosmopolitan cocktail on arrival.
